Dendy Park Tennis Club Competitions

Dendy Park is one of the strongest competition clubs in Australia winning numerous Tennis Victoria and previously Lawn Tennis Association of Victoria Pennants at all grades over our history. Great pennant players and former Club Champions including Albert Jacoby, Neale Fraser, Will Coghlan, Terry Payton, Mark Hartnett, Paul Arber, Andrew McLean, Thelma Long, Lorraine Robinson, Lynne Nette and Wendy Pearson have represented the Club.

Dendy Park Tennis Club is one of the elite Melbourne tennis club's in which you can improve the standard of your competition play, regularly winning Tennis Victoria pennants in the elite and lower grades.

In 2018 we are playing the following Men's pennant teams:

• Grade 2
• Grade 3
• Grade 5
• Grade 7
• Grade 9 (two teams)
• Grade 10
• Masters Doubles

In 2018 we are playing the following teams in Ladies pennant:

• Premier League
• Grade 1
• Grade 3

The Club continues to look for Woman's Pennant players at all levels to help develop the participation of woman in tennis.

Club Pennant Secretary Barry Pryor organizes Tennis Victoria Pennant teams. Indications of interest from players is normally required in the month of January prior to the season commencement in April each year. It is expected pennant players will play in the Annual Club Championships.

Available  Tuesday  DOUBLES ONLY mornings 9.00am -11.30am. 3 sets of tennis. Form your own team or enter individually. No need to be a member.

Dendy Park fields teams at all levels for all age groups of participation in Moorabbin and District Junior Competition (played on Saturday mornings) and Bayside Regional Competition (played on Sunday mornings). Club Professional Dean Ellis organizes these teams.
